You're right Christopher.
By changing the allowedHosts var like the following (without 'http://'
before 'localhost')
allowedHosts = ['www.openlayers.org', 'openlayers.org',
'labs.metacarta.com', 'world.freemap.in',
'prototype.openmnnd.org', 'geo.openplans.org',
'localhost']
and writing
OpenLayers.ProxyHost="/cgi-bin/proxy.cgi/?url=";
in the javascript, the application works the same (but now using proxy,
right?)
