Hi! I tried to use the ScaleLine control to my OL map but apparentrly there something strange.
This is the syntax I used: map.addControl(new OpenLayers.Control.ScaleLine()); and the result is this new div: <div id="OpenLayers.Control.ScaleLine_144" class="olControlScaleLine olControlNoSelect" style="position: absolute; display: block; z-index: 1008;" unselectable="on"> <div class="olControlScaleLineTop" style="visibility: visible; width: 82px;">100 km</div> <div class="olControlScaleLineBottom" style="visibility: visible; width: 66px;">50 mi</div> </div> Shouldn't appear a scalimeter? The reason I sent the PG thread was that I thought that it would be easier to use that method to split the line, since select-feature.html has the "select" part, and the "draw a line" part.
