Hi. MapFish includes a build script allowing to build a minimal, application-specific, single-file compressed library. You can even have the build script build a combined OL + MF library. However Ext (provided in MapFish) has separate <script> tags in the html file.
Yes MapFish may be overkill in certain situations, when you don't need any MapFish components, or if your code relies on a stripped down version of Ext. This makes of thing that it'd be great to provide page where the user can select MapFish components and get in return a compressed js library with the minimal MF+OL+Ext code into it. Might not be easy, but would make an interesting internship for example. Cheers. Eric 2008/8/29, Kit Plummer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > For me, Mapfish is just overkill.
