today while browsing about OpenLayers i found Roja, looks like this can api integrate OL on it: http://webgis.regione.sardegna.it/roja/naturaldocs/index/General8.html http://webgis.regione.sardegna.it/roja/naturaldocs/files/Roja-js.html
