I soved this by adding an elseFilter rule to the style. This way if none of the rules applie the elsefilter rule is used.

The property I created the rule for is not available in the cluster (of course) I looked into the context parameter of the addUniqueValueRule method but am not sure how to use that one. Another possibility might be to specify a default value in my lookup list (where I specify the symbolizers per unique value) but I don't know if that's possible (null and undefined didn't work) Anyone has experience with this?
