I am not advocating violating Goggle TOS, but it seems that the end user always has the ability to use something like SnagIt or PrintScrn or ctrl-PrintScrn to capture their screen image and then paste that into another document and print from there.
Again, you need to look at whether the usage of that image is in violation of the TOS. -Steve W Julien-Samuel Lacroix wrote: > You can't print Google with an overlay. > > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg09640.html > > Julien > > Peter Dawn wrote: >> hi everyone, >> >> am using openlayers with geoserver and google maps to display layers >> on top of google maps. >> >> now when the user adds a bunch of layers on top of google maps, is >> there a way to save that pic. say if the user wants to print that >> pic, they can click on a Print link and it would convert the pic into >> a png or a gif or a jpg or something. >> >> i know being on the client side we have no control over it, but >> perhaps there is a way around it. >> >> please advise. >> >> thanks. >> _______________________________________________ >> Users mailing list >> [email protected] >> http://openlayers.org/mailman/listinfo/users >> > _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://openlayers.org/mailman/listinfo/users
