Hi! I can see that the response is gml 3 because of elements like gml:Envelope, gml:posList,…, they belong to gml 3 specification [1]. Concerning your server configuration as I am not a MapServer user I can't answer you, but you can specify the output format in your request url like: '&outputformat=GML2' [2].
