Yet I know, why the whole php file has been posted in my alert: I changed the
call of my php in the 

var req = OpenLayers.Request.GET(
           {
                url: 'process-spatial-query.php',

to url:'http://localhost/process-spatial-query.php' 

But i still have some problems left: Now my alert is an empty string. So I
don't get any handleInfo, handleError or handleWKT, which should give a
response, as defined in my php file. 

I'm still kind of lost ...
