I had issues today on a Mac running OO 4.0.0 and Maverickx opening a docx file [I'm pretty sure it was created by MSO on W7]. No problem on this machine still on Mt Lion with OO 4.0.1. Updated the other machine to OO 4.0.1 and all is well. Still need to try a file exported from Pages.
