Thanx for the info, Jim. They can expect the same response from me, if they call. I have Windows, but I seldom log in to it--I do almost all computing using PCLinuxOS.

Exactly what was done to a good friend of mine, even as far as telling
her they are the national authority for all windows installations and that she needs
to follow their instructions .... yara yara ...
Well, she was lucking she called me first.
She took the number they called her from and reported them to the local FBI office. She never heard from them again. So apparently some other similar outfit has replaced them.
