Perhaps non-software developers would unsubscribe on their own and not
bother the list if the unsubscribe instructions provided in every
message were less terse.
I suggest:
To unsubscribe from this e-mail list:
* from the same e mail address with which you initially subscribed
* send an e-mail message to: [email protected]
* no entry is needed for the Subject (but an entry may be made)
* no entry is needed for the Body (but an entry may be made)
It would be nice to also state whether an acknowledgement message will
be provided when the unsubscribe becomes effective.
