Did you follow the link http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error shown in the error message. That link provides a lot of detailed information, together with possible causes and solutions. I suspect that your issue may have be caused by the installation file being corrupted during the download. Try downloading again, without using any download manager/accelerator programs and then follow the file checksum verification procedure detailed here: http://www.openoffice.org/download/checksums.html If the checksum of your freshly downloaded installation file and the one linked from the Apache OpenOffice download page: http://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html are the same the software should install normally. If not then you may need to try some of the more "aggressive" options proposed on the NSIS website. Hope this helps. Regards Dave
