I do seem to recall visiting the Java website and doing an update; but did not reselect within AOO, which at present shows only one JRE listed. However, when first getting this Win8 machine, DELL Tech Support did walk me through installations of both a 32- bit and a 64- bit JRE. I will revisit that website to verify that I have both still installed properly in this machine. Thanks again for all of your time, effort, and help.
