I'm not sure what you are asking here, maybe I need to see your document to understand. What kind of document is it by the way? I would guess Spreadsheet (”Apache OpenOffice Calc”). > How can I change the document title? > Did you try your luck with File → Preferences? > Between the doc title and column titles what is the purpose of the > 3 column bold rectangle? > I don't see one. Or maybe I just misunderstand again… Did you use some kind of pre-defined template? In that case, where did you find it, what's its name and so on? > When I make a column to be all one color (by scrolling down the > column) why do all the dividing lines disappear? > Are you talking about those grid lines? You know you can turn them off, don't you? Anyway, I turned mine on just for test, and they are visible even in coloured columns. Are you sure you are using Apache OpenOffice? > Is there any reason why the format (i.e. left, center, right > etc.)of entries in any column cannot be changed? > Again, are you sure you use Apache OpenOffice? Most of us didn't create Apache OpenOffice, but some developers may be subscribed, but I'm not too sure about that. Anyway, Apache OpenOffice should be downloaded from the Apache OpenOffice web site and ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE ELSE. Really, ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE ELSE, ok? If you didn't, I would recommend you to uninstall the crap (probably) you installed and download the proper version from http://www.openoffice.org/download instead. If the problem persists, then write back, maybe someone can help. The more information you provide about your problem, the easier to solve it, like exactly what did you do for the problem to happen.
