It should be downloaded only from www.openoffice.org/download which will redirect automatically to SourceForge servers, where the files are stored. The selected download will then start automatically in 5-10 seconds without need to click (read: DO NOT click) on anything else. It may be that you downloaded from some other source; often copies of the program from other sources than the above have had undesirable additions made to them.
