At the bottom of every post is an subscribe link. I have use that link 3
times with no luck. Still getting emails that serve no purpose to me. If
it takes me sending all emails from openoffice to spam I will. i am only
asking to be removed. Not a big deal, I thought. Guess not.

When you unsubscribe, you will get an email letting you confirm that you want
to subscribe. Follow the instructions in it.
You won't be unsubscribed until you do so. This is the same as the process you
went through to subscribe to this mailing list, and was listed in the email you
received after you subscribed.
If you haven't seen the confirmation email check your spam folder.
