To uninstall” OpenOffice" (or any application) from a Mac HD, download/install the free application “AppCleaner” (at 5MB installed).
Open “AppCleaner” and drag the “OpenOffice" icon into the “Drop Apps Here” window. “AppCleaner" uninstalls the application and ALL associated files e.g. plist libraries etc. ‘ Hope this helps.
