El Capitan question

I downloaded a 2014 version of OO, even though the explanation on your official 
site said it works only through Yosemite (I upgraded to El Capitan). Another 
user’s question mentions he downloaded a 2016 version for Windows 10. Is there 
a 2016 version for Macintosh (El Capitan)? 
My computer told me it will open downloads only if they came from the Mac App 
Store.
