Hi Carol,

Attachments are removed by the mailing list server and normal list
subscribers cannot see them.

The "/.~lock./" files shown in your screen captures are not your working
files. They are temporary files used by the software while it has a
working file open and are normally removed when a working file is
closed. The fact that you can still see them suggests that the software
is being forcibly closed or has crashed before the working document was
properly saved or closed.

Did you get this spreadsheet from someone else? If so, what software
(eg. MS Excel) was it created in? The "/red outlined/" cells with the
"/info pop-up/" are called comments, but this is not the standard cell
format for cell comments, which is what makes me ask the two previous
questions.

It should be possible to remove the cell comment, by right mouse
clicking on the cell and selecting "/Delete Comment/" from the context
(pop-up) menu that opens.

Is it possible to upload a sample spreadsheet to a public file sharing
service (eg. Dropbox, Google Docs, MediaFire, etc.) and email the list
with a link to the sample? This will make it possible to accurately
answer your question and offer possible solutions.

Regards
Dave
