There is a bug in Open Office 4.1.2 AOO412m3(Build:9782) - Rev. 1709696 2015-10-21 09:53:29 (Mi, 21 Okt 2015) where upon saving a document in OpenOffice Writer, part of the document gets changed. For example: I saved a document using the Times New Roman font and upon opening it again, part of the document had its font changed to OpenSymbol;Arial Unicode MS.
