Hi Tammy, Can you explain in more detail what functionality is missing? In Writer version 4.1.7 I can create many basic shapes like circles and rectangles and have the area of those shapes filled with a wide variety of gradients, without resorting to the Draw module.
Try creating a basic shape, then right click on the shape and select "/Area/" from the context (pop-up) menu that appears. In the "Area" dialog (window) that opens you have a wide choice of "Fills" including gradients. For more fine grain control select the "Gradients" tab of that dialog. Please asses how this could be substantially expanded/improved and submit an enhancement request: https://www.openoffice.org/qa/issue_handling/pre_submission.html Thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *From:* Tammy Hodges [mailto:[email protected]] *Sent:* Sunday, May 17, 2020, 18:06 UTC *To:* [email protected] *Subject:* Functionality > Hi, thanks for the free open source product.
