Since attachments are not allowed on this list, it is sometimes more difficult than it needs to be to discuss issues. Many on this list have their own ftp servers, so for them the workaround is trivial. Some of us, however, do not have access to an ftp server. I have used Hypersend to send files when confronted with this type of problem. Hypersend is a file-sharing service that is free for up to 100 files a month. I am not shilling for Hypersend, but perhaps users on this list might find it useful.
Unfortunately, I do not know how it will work with a list, so I sent a test to the list through Hypersend. I hope this doesn't annoy anyone too much. Please let me know if this is a stupid idea. Thanks.
Jim
Jim, I must be missing something. I assume that all e-mail users have an ISP and that all (most) ISPs offer free web space, so what's the problem? A simple upload to a page (read only) that shows an index of its contents would seem to be sufficient.
