How many fonts are installed in the OOo font directory? And in the main OS Font directory?
Because i haven't tampered with anything since install - I've skipped those questions - tell me if i should go back.Did you set the default for the Gallery to open, at startup? How big is the Gallery?
Starting OOo with a blank file still uses 285MB - and after
Save the document, unzip it, and see what is in that blank file.
Also take a look at the statistics page on the properties.
I suspect you have either a few graphics, or some pretty big "hidden"
tables there.
in both files graphics, OLE and tables are zero
here the distribution of space (after unzipping) in the files: (I guess that META-INF is a system file)
