Windows is a curable disease too you know :-)

That's why I wrote "yet". I expect to get a Linux Box in the summer. There is _one_ program that the person i share this computer with needs, that has no functional FLOSS equivalent. Hence, this one stays in microsoft land.

I've got the same problem becasue we need to run autocad - so I'm one of many people successfully running win xp and fedora on a multi boot box. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Right, I'd like to add that I had even installed on one and the same machine (and of course running, but not at the same time ;-) ) SuSE 8.2, SuSE 9.1, SuSE 9.2, WinME, WinME and Win2000! So I guess there is no basic problem doing it ... :-D
