i'll just add that installing suse menus for you will do no harm, it will jsut create additional files and an entry in your rpm database. not much, but if you like a clean system, remove that rpm before doing an install :)

Group,
New (naive) Linux user with a question. I downloaded the tarball for m69, unrolled it, and now I have 14 rpms. I know how to install an rpm but I wasn't expecting 14 of them! It's not obvious to me how to proceed. Does the order I install them make a difference? And I realize that I can ignore the one for SUSE menues (so that makes 13, I'm running FC3 so I'll use the fedora menues I guess).

TIA

ps. Accidentally cross-posted to dba.users. Ignore it there.
