sounds like you picked up a virus. They are infamous for deleting critical
files. It also could be a hacker or spy program. Make sure your anti virus
programs are up to date or get one from www.mcaffee.com. never had a problem
since Ive been using theirs. to correct the problem scan for viruses and then
backup your data files (database)and user files then uninstall OO then
reinstall. Good Luck. Get a second opinion as their may be an easier way.
