no excuses save fact i was trying to install OOo1.1.4 whilst suffering 104 fever due walking Pneumonia.. ;[
but got confused during several restarts of the installation attempts halted first with something about i had to use '-net' isntall option..
resulting in my having one installation in the /home/hacim/OpenOffice.org1.1.4.. and one in /home/hacim/OOo1.1.4..
once discovered i deleted the duplicate ~/OOo1.1.4 folder and checked that i was calling the /home/hacim/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/./soffice on my keybindings via metacity..
it opened fine it would've seemed.. but sense all this confusing installations, while editing documents i get several errors alike in kind...

...i then get many in a row of similar errors:

Error loading BASIC of document file:///home/OOo1.1.4/share/basic/Template/script.xlb/: General Error. General input/output error.
...and am forced to click 'OK' button several times in a row.. and yet it appears no harm to document.. altho it does make one concerned that document could fail in future..
anyone please on how to remove this dual installation location 'ghosts' from my OOo 1.1.4 install please much appreciated..
