I've been a user of Open Offiice for quite a while now, and I must say that the forthcoming version 2 really looks the business. I do however have 1 question, in a Microsoft Access database, you can link tables in from multiple sources. Unless I'm doing something wrong I can only use a single data source, with any 1 Open Office Base.
It would be really handy if we could use multiple data sources with a single Open Office documnet, base especially. This is really useful if trying to migrate data from 1 database to another, or import a spreadheet, or subset of a spreadsheet, and use OOBase, as the medium with which to do this.
I apreciate that Open Offiec 2 is still beta, but I hope the functionality I 've spoken of will be available in the final production release, I'm sure this functioanlity would be very popular.
