This is a great idea. I generally works. Thanks.

Alignment is a little off with the table cells. I first tried to change the
font size in the textbox to adjust the alignment. Close, but not perfect.
Then I tried changing the the table cell sizes by changing the distance
between the top of the text and the top of the cell and OO.1.9.74 crashed on
save. (I reported this one with the auto bug report dialog during the
recovery of the file. That was very cool!)

If I leave the alignment alone after adjusting font to get as close a
possible and convert the presentation to pdf in the latest build, OO.1.9.74,
all the links are preserved which resolves Issue 41756 that I reported
earlier today. Very nice.

Keep up the good work!

Bob

Impress.OO1.1.4

As a workaround, you can insert an hyperlink in a text box and then
change the borderline style from invisible to continuous. Maybe you can
align this textbox over your table and give the impresion of a working
hyperlink inside it...

...well, apparently the borderline style change isn't necessary.

Let me know if it works.
