Are you using one of the Paste Special options to insert? If not try
Edit > Paste Special and pick another option.
I use 1.1.4 allright. I tried this now: Import - Spreadsheet (? -
'Werkblad' in Dutch) and in the next menu choose Table - From file. Is
this what you mean? Anyway, it works!

By the way, just pick 'File - Open' doesn't work. The txt file will be
opened in a new Writer document.
THat is true. If you can manage in English, you can use the user guide
at documentation.openoffice.org to help with problems such as this.
English is fine, but somehow I just couldn't find it. Thanks a lot!
