Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I looked all over & tried all the combinations I could imagine....
I would like to find the equivalent of Excel's function of Drag & Drop with Shift.
This enables shifting cells, lines, columns etc within a packed field, without overwriting anything or generating open spaces.
In it's simplest form in Excel, if I start with cells containing: A B C D E I can 'Shift+Click' on B and Drag it to between D&E to give me: A C D B E
I feel sure Calc must do this, but have not been able to see how.
I ran this through the Calc Forum & was surprised not to get an answer...
Thanks for any help.

In Excel 2002, I can't emulate this behavior. Which version of Excel are you using?
