I tried to access the website on my other computer but I couldn't download
the program nor contact you through it. Key buttons and tabs were missing,
it seems.
I have been able to download the program on this computer. This is a clone
PC Athlon 1.4 speed with a CRT monitor. The other is an Acer Intel P4 2.8
with a Samsung SyncMaster 710V LCD screen. Might it be something to do with
the screen settings?
When I load the program on the Acer I get the start up screen which sends me to the website again to do the beginners' User Survey and again I can't access key tabs and buttons so I have to cancel the survey.
Any suggestions?

It is a long time since I installed OOo on Windows, but if I read you right, the problem only arose when you went to the registration site? This is for information only, and is not essential to install the program. Check the "later" (I think) or "Already registered" boxes. then see if you can run the set-up again. There is a good SETUP GUIDE included, once you have unzipped the original download.
