I have been lurking on the OOO lists for a while now and thins is my first posting (I am feeling very brave) unfortunately I don't get the time to read all the postings so I do appologise if this has been answered before
I am using the latest version of OOO (1.9.74). I have created a small document in writer using the .odt format and am having problem when printing it. I have included the Tick symbol from the WingDings2 font in various parts of the document (This comes from capital P in this font) It displays the font correctly on the screen but when printing the Tick is replaced with a Bold uppercase P. I tried this to different printers but got the same thing. Saved the document to to Word format and printed from Word 2003 and this printed correctly. Have also reprinted again from OOO using the .doc version of the file but is still printing a bold capital P. Am I missing something as I can't find anything in the help for this?
