I saw your earlier message but did not have an answer. I am not certain
I have one now but there are some questions you have to answer first.

     1. Are you using CUPS?
     2. Have you set CUPS up to do the postscript conversion for you?

If yes to these, then you should have no problem setting up a postscript
printer that OOo can use as Generic.
