Thanks for the reference. The result they describe (of not reintroducing the ability to start applications as it was in 1.1.4) seems won't please me, nevertheless I am happy to have the reference. I didn't see the problem of hanging on boot listed. QuickStart is a good idea, UNLESS it causes problems. It certainly should not be started without warning the user. The issue of MS guidelines compliance seems to be a rather hot potato that no one wants. (The 'hot potato' idiom goes back to the historian Josephus. Ask me off list.
