Dear all,
I have a collection of 1000 positive integers below 250 (ICMP echo-reply times, as it happens) in a column. Plotting them as a graph shows a lovely spikey line graph that shows what happened over the 1000s test interval, but I'd like to look at the distribution. Whilst I could manually collate the values and create a second graph to show the distribution, is there a function that help do this from the entire population for me? Many thanks for any help you can offer.

I am not entirely sure, but you may want to try some other avenues to see if you question is answered elsewhere. Here are some common places to check:
1) Use OOo help. 2) Go to <<documentation.openoffice.org>>. Search the *docs*, *FAQs* and *How To's*. Many questions are already answered. 3) Scan the mailing list archives for related messages. You can search the users list here <<http://tinyurl.com/6edyk>>. 4) Use Google or other search engine. 5) If these fail, then ask on an appropriate list.
These tips are expanded upon at <<http://tinyurl.com/3qy4k>>.
