Charlotte: I'm sorry, I misread you. It sounds like after you installed OOo, the fonts in you web browser (IE?) are no longer the right size? I don't see how OOo could affect another program. In IE, can you change the font size? Maybe that somehow got changed around the same time you installed OOo. I've not heard from others that OOo changed the font size in their web browser, and many of them have the same configuration as you. I don't think this is an OOo issue. You also can't just install the spreadsheet. The components are small (writer, calc, impress) with the main part used by all. In IE, I think the setting may be under View->Size or something like that, but I don't have/use IE, so I don't know. You could search IE help for changing font size. I have a feeling this may fix things. Should you ever want to uninstall, you can simply go to Add/Remove programs, like you said.
