I didn't even know there was a book ... I was referring to the macros I
wrote (quite a few years ago ;) ) to migrate my .wks files to .123
(Lotus Millennium files).

At present I have no idea whatsoever: last time I explored them I found
the OOo-Calc macros concept and syntax and way to use were quite
far from what I was familiar with; may be I even downloaded some
documentation but have never 'studied' it: too much time absorbed to get
a fair understanding of how things worked in linux ;-)

This is very kind of you. However, as I said above, I have no precise
idea right now. Generally speaking the .123 feature I would miss much is
the possibility to write a series of commands on subsequent (vertical)
cells, give the first cell a single letter 'range' name and be able to
run the full sequence of commands, any time you want, just pressing ALT
(or CTRL)+letter.
If time comes that I tackle again the subject I'll remember your offer
...
