Yup. Tried in 1.1.3(FC3) as well and with normal text this works. So the document may have something in it that make things to be not handled correctly. ANy chance you can post it? If not, I am willing to have a look and you may send it privately or create an issue as this is really the best way to have problems such as this evaluated is to file an issue.
