Hi list!
Well, now IT WORKS! This is what I did:
I completely removed ALL OO from my system. I re-installed OO with the -net option into /opt/OpenOffice.org1.1.4 as usual.
I copied the uno-zip thing from writerperfect into /opt/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/shared/unopackages...
I changed the rights of the uno zip thing so that it's readable by everyone.
I dropped from root to my own account.
I installed a workstation copy into my own home-dir, just as one would normally do.
Fired up OO.
And it works - just perfectly!!
I suppose you would in fact say "... just WordPerfect-ly" :-)
Thank You Ever So Much!
Best regards, Verner

Hi List and everybody...
I followed the renewed instructions and I actually go to copy the generated W..uno.zip file to /opt/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/share/uno_and_so_forth...
I noticed that the uno.zip (it shouldn't be unzipped, should it??) only had reading rights for owner and group. I changed that to reading rights for everyone.
And ran "pkgchk --shared" which ran without a hitch.
Wauv, I thought. This is it!
Only until I tried to start OO. A box comes up, says something ( in danish...) like "Internal error: GetStorage, name: "No Content!"
- and it breaks. I deleted .sversionrc and re-installed the workstation to my home dir. Same error.
Conclusion; I now have a fine wordperfect filter installed in an OO installation that is broken...
Now any hints are welcome :-)
Best regards, Verner

This is because the SDK while you "configure" it detects your USER/WORKSTATION installation of OOo. This one contains only your user specific files and not the shared libraries.
Run the configure again and correct this fact: enter the installation directory of the NETWORK installation.
When the wp-sdk ./configure asks for the java sdk directory I gave it
the output of "$JDK_HOME", this was "/usr/lib/jvm/java". I did install
the SDK from the SuSE9.2 CDs.
Any hints :-)
Consider the above one as a hint :-)
Cheers
