If that works and you have a stand alone inkjet type printer, you might want to try my two-sided print utility duplexpr (on sourceforge & freshmeat). I set my OOo printer to dplx (part of duplexpr) and it prints everything two-sided for me even though my printer does not support duplex printing in hardware.

Apparently you object to kprinter? I can't help you then, sorry. Actually I don't know what kprinter even is; there's no man page or info on it.... Outside of OO, I just use lpr as always....
I don't object to it, just to the fact that I have to run two printing functions, first the OO, then up comes the gui for the kprinter.
There _must_ be a better way to make things run than by suggesting to people, "Oh, if you can't make OO print, send your stuff through kprinter."
