I like to know if open office has security holes like Ms Office.

Probably. Nothing of importance has been discovered yet, but it probably has someone.

Also if security hole are found and bugs found how long does it takes to obtain a patch?

I don't know, but judging from another opensource projects, probably in a couple of days.

What is the difference between your product and the other office suites.

1) It's free. Not only free of charge, but it's sources are public. That means than anybody with enough skills and time can make any modification to the program. Given that enormous amounts of time are needed to be able to familiarize with the codebase to make even the smallest changes, what that really means if that any organization can hire people to change openoffice. It also means that there always will be a free version of openoffice that can be updated. No company can close the product (but they can forego their financial support and slow down a lot the project).

2) It's cross-platform (Unix, Windows, Mac), and uses open formats.

3) It have some features that the competiton lacks, but it also lacks some of the competence features.

4) It's arguably evolving faster than any other office suitte.

Personaly I feel writer and draw quite ahead of the competition. But I feel that calc, while enough to meet my requirements, is worse than excel or gnumeric (especially while working with large sheets). There are a lot of aspect to considerate.
