Hi,

In GTK 1.x, you could type the beginning of a directory, press Tab and the
file chooser would complete the name for you automatically. In Ooo 1.x,
you could type the beginning of a name and OOo would match something. It
wasn't ideal but it worked. In 2.0, we are using the Gtk (GNOME?) 2.x file
chooser which, so far, I find horrendous. I think the only great thing
about it is the fact that you can bookmark places you go to often.

I just, just, *just* found out that you can get part of the file
completion functionality by pressing Ctrl-L when the window is open.

Are there any other tricks like this that I should know about?

Thanks,

L
