I searched but couldn't find anything in Bugzilla - doesn't mean it's not in there of course, as difficult as it is to use...

Platform:
Windows XP Pro, sp2, all hotfixes
OOo 1.1.4, net install

Anyway, to recreate it:

1. Create a folder on your desktop.

2. Create a file in OOo. Save it to the folder. I tried both a Writer and a Calc document.

3. Quit OOo (saving the document), but leaving the Quickstarter running.

4. Delete the folder on your desktop (or move it to another location).

I consistently get a Windows error message telling me:

"Cannot delete FolderName: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again."

All I can do is click 'OK'.

If I quit the Quickstarter, I can then delete or move the folder, so somehow, the OOo quickstarter is doing something to make Windows think the file is still open.

I have tried this on three different machines, so I am fairly certain it isn't anything wrong with the installation, though I guess it could be an application conflict with something else we're running on all of the machines.
