There is the ability to right click (when you've selected the rows)

When I purchased my new computer I got a 3 month trial period for MS
Office. One of the files that I wrote with MSO has 3 tables which were
all on one page. Now when I try to open this old MSO file with OOo it is
putting the information on 2 pages because the height in the cells in
the tables have been increased larger than the MSO file. I have tried to
decrease the height of the cells but nothing seems to work.
Suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to be aware that there is also a global setting of margins between the text and cell boundaries. I don't have that right in front of me, but it caught me by surprise several months ago. It's not the same as spacing before and after paragraphs - it's a setting MSO doesn't have.
