I see this type of post more and more, regarding people who do not follow up the install questions carefully before installing!
Can SOMEBODY please put up a "flag" on the download site to choose your install preferences carefully before downloading and installing the software!!!

Also, change the text in the install dialogue, to be a clearer explanation of what the outcome will be if the user checks the boxes to open MS Office documents in OOo.
I have have taken my own straw poll of several inexperienced computer users, as to the meaning of the current text. They all read it to mean that if they left the boxes unchecked OOo would be incapable of opening MS Office documents, not that OOo would become the default association for those file types. None of them previously knew (or wanted to know) anything about file associations.
My 2c worth.
