Hello Open Office Team:

All of your programs can be saved in such a way like

Microsoft Office does.

Except the program "Base" (database) which can not be saved like Microsoft
Access do.

This subject is very important to me because I work usually with Open Office at
home,

And at work I use Microsoft Access.

When will you enable this option?

OpenOffice will not ( in the near future ) support opening Access MDB files like you want. You can connect to an MDB file via ODBC and query, edit data etc, but you can't open / edit forms, reports etc. I would be surprised if this feature was *ever* available. If you want to be able to use open-source tools to use / edit a GUI to a database, don't use MS Access. Use OpenOffice 2's "base" app or build your GUI with something else. I use Perl-Gtk2, which works on Windows and Linux ( and OS X I believe, but I haven't been able to make it work on mine yet ).
