Hi,

I am having problems trying to find the file " jvmsetup ". Would you kindly
send guidance, as you would to a child or an idiot, please.

  Hi Nick,
OOo needs a minimum of v1.4.1_01 java. I believe that the latest java
download will update your existing installation. It wouldn't hurt to
  uninstall the old version, though.

VERSION (?) OF JAVA ALREADY, WHICH I DOWNLOADED WHEN I HAD A SPELL OF USING
OPERA, NOW ABANDONED IN FAVOLUR MOZILLA FIREFOX. WHATEVER THE VERSION IS, IT
IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OOO AS THEY KEEP ASKING FOR JRE. SHOULD I DELETE THIS
EARLIER VERSION BEFORE DOWNLOADING FROM SUN ???
