You indicated that you had some difficulty with some font manipulations, so I did some font manipulations of my own. I added a section on my web site that deals specificially with fonts. I also created a document that demonstrates the techniques. There are three primary sections.
1. Create a summary of the fonts contained in a document. This provides the font name and then samples of the letters and numbers.
2. Create all of the font descriptor information in a Calc document.
3. Create a Write document that contains text tables with examples of the characters 32 through 255.
The document itself contains a lot of explanatory text. The document contains buttons that you can simply click on to run the macros.
