After clicking "Request project membership/role" a page is displayed confirming the role and prompting you with a "Submit request" button.
If this is not happening for you, send a message to [email protected] This is the main QA list, and it is probably a good idea to be subscribed to this list anyway if you wish to join the QA team.
To subscribe to [email protected] send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and reply to the confirmation mail. Further information is on: http://qa.openoffice.org/helping.html
